Mike's 8bit Garage can replace your old dying capacitors and give your NES new life allowing you to continue playing your favorite games for many years to come.

Note: Please keep in mind that replacing capacitors does not guarantee a console will be fixed. If your console is not working (No power, No image or audio, or can't read games) This may require a repair service. Please contact me if your system needs repairs.

Our Service Includes:

• New Capacitors for Motherboard and PSU
• PCB and Pin Cleaning.
• 72 Pin Connector adjustment (If Needed)
• Deoxit application to improve conductivity and aid in protection.

How the Mail-In Process Works:

• Purchase the Service: Select your service options and complete your checkout securely on our store.
• Pack Securely: Safely pack your NES console (console only—no cables or controllers needed) in a sturdy box with plenty of bubble wrap.
• Ship It to Us: Ship the package using your preferred carrier. We recommend adding tracking and insurance. (You will receive our exact shipping address immediately via email after checkout).
• Service & Return: 3 to 7 business days from the day your console arrives at our workshop. As soon as your recap service is complete, we hand your console off to the courier for its trip home. We will email you a tracking number so you can follow it right to your doorstep.

Note: If we discover additional hidden issues during the pre-check (like severe corrosion or failing chips), we will pause and contact you immediately. This may extend the timeline.

• Working Consoles Only: This specific service is a preventative restoration and maintenance package for consoles that currently power on and function. If your console is already completely dead, please message us before purchasing so we can evaluate if it is repairable
